Deleting Contacts

In addition to being able to view the contents of a list, being the creator of the list allows you to completely remove and therefore disassociate a contact from a particular list. To delete a record simply:

1. Click My Contact Groups in the Contacts tab

2. Make sure that the Constant Contact bubble in the right corner of the screen is selected.

3. Click the name of the Contact list that you want to view.

4. Check the box next to the contact that you would like to remove from the list and click Delete

 

Note: Deleting record completely removes a contact from a list. This differs from selecting opt out which simply ensures that a contact will not receive any emails, but remains on the list
